People told me right when she was born “Enjoy her! The time will go by so fast!” I nodded and agreed with them, but in my mind I was thinking that it would be forever before she’d be old enough to play, eat solid food, sit up by herself. And here she is! The time has come, just as quickly as everyone said it would. Sophie turned 6 months old on Sunday-a halfway to a YEAR. Having her with me is so natural now, it’s hard to remember my life before her! Good thing I have this blog so I can go back and read about my loonnng lazy mornings reading or walking in the park, taking naps before work, etc.
Sophie can now:
Sit up on her own (for a few minutes)
Has a very predictable schedule (which is wonderful!)
Enjoys going for walks and jogs in the stroller (HURRAY!)
Loves to cuddle
“Wrestles” with Kevin
Likes to look at books and be read to
Wiggles like a maniac when I try to change her diaper
Likes rice cereal, carrots, and sweet potatoes (that’s all we’ve tried so far!)
Goes CRAZY in her jumparoo
“Scoots” by bringing her knees up underneath her body (she’ll be crawling soon for sure!)
She’s is such a happy and social baby. She likes watching people, loves to be talked to, laughs when we make silly faces, and loves to cuddle. She’s sleeping great, napping great for me in the morning, and overall is a wonderful kid. Couldn’t have asked for a better baby!
Happy 6 Months Sweetie!
