Resolutions, I mean “Goals”.

I’m not one to make and keep resolutions. Some years I make them, but I  never really tell anyone about them because come mid-January I’ve already broken them. I don’t truly believe in them, because let’s face it: If you wanted to make a change in your life you’d do it now rather than waiting until the first of the year to start. That’s why, I’m not making resolutions this year. I’m making goals. Achievable goals. Goals that I’ll have to work for, but are completely do-able. Goals that will stretch me, yet not burn me out by the end of January.

So, here they are, in no particular order of importance:

1. Complete at least one Half.

2. Run or work out at least 5 days per week.

3. Go out to dinner less.

4. Pay off a big chunk of our debt.

5. Love God more.

6. Become more disciplined in my eating habits. Translation: Stop eating so much junk!
