She’s 16 Months and full of technological smarts,
And book smarts,
And Curious George-in-the-box smarts.
She’s got a smile that can light up a room, and a laugh that makes you forget all your troubles.
I am so blessed to be her Mama! She’s full of words, giggles, and joy. We had no idea how joyful she would be when we chose her middle name. Fits her to a T!
Thank you Sweet Sophie Joy, for the most wonderful 16 months. We love watching you grow!
I’ll spare you my singing, but if I listen carefully I can just barely hear..the hills fill my heart with the sound of music, my heart wants to sing every song it hears…
Oh the sun does wonderful things for my mood. I’m sure you agree. Unless you’re one of those Frozen Snow Popsicle People who thrive in the overcast, bitterly windy, icy winter weather. To those FSPP I say: You’re Ccccaaahh–raazzy!
Sophie’s new lightwight stroller came the other day so this morning we took it for a spin. She liked it! We bundled up and walked for about half hour around the apartment complex. We even found an enormous snowman that someone had built! Really, the builder of this snowman should win an award or something. If there’s a contest for giant snowman building, I’m pretty sure they would win.
I’ve started my new book club pick-Handle With Care by Jodi Picoult. So far, it’s got me hooked. Typical Jodi.
Tonight I’ve got a meeting at church and then book club at 8. Busy night, but I’m looking forward to it. I’m especially looking forward the PB&J that Kev is bringing to church for me for my dinn-dinn. I’m also especially looking forward to sitting around the fireplace at Bigby, coffee in hand, chatting books with my book club ladies who have become my friends. All the more reason to sing!
